Boarded the bus and it was an ok bus that was reasonably comfortable with air conditioning. Early on in the trip, the passports were collected without explanation. At the crossing, passports were returned and we had to cross the border. The passports were then collected again ( with no explanation) and this time the bus drove off which left many worried about their passports. After a short distance, the bus came to a stop at a service station for a rest break. After a little while someone turned up on a motorcycle and returned the passports. We then boarded the bus and the air conditioning broke down and we had to complete the last 2 hours of the trip in a hot bus. None of the staff spoke English so every step of the way was guess work. Wouldn't use these again.
Kind of a hoot – I didn’t sleep since it was the middle of the afternoon but it would probably be great for an overnight trip. Bus was clean and seats were typical bus seats but there was room for your feet to lie out straight.

Crazy train ride but easiest and cheapest way to get from HCMC to Mui Ne. I was traveling during Tet so it was insanely packed, but it's still the best and cheapest option.
